Junior Leadership Team

Our Junior Leadership Team (JLT) have all been carefully selected after applying for their role. They were asked to explain why they wanted to be part of the junior leadership team, and what would make them a good member.

The JLT meet regularly with Mrs Fuller to discuss important school issues. They are asked to gather feedback from their classes on what is going well in school and what children would like to see improved/changed.

The JLT have made decisions regarding our school menu options with our school business officer, and have organised a 'Culture Day' and 'Pyjama Day'. They have then decided what they would like to buy for our school with money raised.

Our Junior Leadership Team have said:

'Being part of the JLT has built my self-confidence. We have organised lots of fundraisers to raise money for our school. I really enjoy planning these.'

'Being part of the JLT means I can speak to children and hear about positive things we can do to improve the school grounds, wellbeing of children and our overall primary school experience.'

'I love being part of the JLT because it means I can be a voice for the children of Beechfield School and I can be involved in planning fun things like non-school uniform days. I also feel like I am helping the school community by addressing improvements that can be made to the school in our weekly JLT meetings.'
